Feinstein’s Assault Weapon Ban: Dead On Arrival

Posted: March 20, 2013 in Uncategorized

Harry Reid put the brakes on the AWB stating that it would jeopardize other gun control issues if brought to the floor, but don’t count it out. It may be dead but it will be attached to anything and everything that runs across the senate floor. Feinstein has put too much time into researching and reading magazines filled with assault weapons to just let this opportunity pass by. Think of it as a zombie, dead but will still lurch forward until some redneck with a crossbow comes along….

I vote Daryl Dixon for senate.

In all honesty, we aren’t out of the woods quite yet. Harry will introduce roughly 4 bills to the floor ranging from restricting magazine capacity to background checks for all transfers. We need to keep contacting our state and federal politicians to remind them that we will not accept any new gun control.

I’m beginning to believe that this has been planned. Reed and Feinstein know there isn’t enough support to get the needed 60 votes to push the bill through, so they dropped the assault weapons ban, and will now add it as an amendment, which, from what I understand, only needs 51 votes to pass.
Don’t think for a second these traitors are going to give up their attack. Besides, what is the point of having an AR or AK if they ban magazines over 10 rounds?

I agree 100% this is a tactical move and trying to make our side let our guard down. After I write this I got to thinking the same thing. We need to stay diligent and keep the pressure up on the folk in Washington.
