Another company takes a stand for the second amendment. This time it is Head Down Products.

From their Facebook page:

Head Down Products is a big defender of the Constitution of the United States because it is what our country was founded upon and is our God given Right as a free people. One of those Rights in particular is to Keep and Bear Arms.

Due to the passing of recent legislation banning the AR15 and other lawfully owned firearms and high capacity magazines, Head Down would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity – will no longer be served as customers. We feel that the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States. This announcement is effective today and applies to any and all states that may adopt such laws in the future.

Head down invites all firearms manufacturers, distributors and firearms dealers to join us in this action to refuse to do business with the State of New York. We must stand together!

Sincerely, David Hunsucker / CEO Head Down Firearms

I hope that all my readers jump over to Head Down Products Facebook or to their website and let them know that we appreciate them standing up for us. Thanks again Head Down! I will be placing an order for a T-shirt or patch, anything to show my support. I encourage my readers to do the same.

Also show some love for the blog and like us on Facebook too!

*Thanks Adam for the heads up on this announcement.
